Michael
Jackson was in Brooklyn, New York, recently to shoot a cover for Ebony magazine's upcoming issue, which
celebrates the 25th anniversary of the world's best-selling album of all time:
'Thriller.'
According to a person on the set, the "King of Pop" was "sweet" and went
"on and on about kids, though, saying how much he loved them."
Jackson has been working on a 25th Anniversary Edition of the album, featuring
four new songs and four remixed tracks, due next year. Kanye West, Will.i.am and
Akon are said to be involved in the production of the reworked material.

Michael
Jackson paid a recent undercover visit to
Brooklyn, where he spent the day shooting a cover for Ebony magazine's issue

He acted "sweet" and was curious
about everyone on the crew, asking questions about their lives, said our spy.
"He did go on and on about kids, though, saying how much he loved them."
The
NY Post was the first

Oct. 29th, 2007: THRILL
THE WORLD in France: some pics !
Saturday,
oct. 27th: Groups
of Zombies gathered in France to THRILL
THE WORLD.
Midnight
was the time, and THRILLER was the music!
French
Dance School TARABERCILIACK (Alès,
Gard, France) was on time to THRILL
THE WORLD.
Meet
the family !
Franck
Lucide, dance teacher and organizer
of TTW France, comments the event:
We
were not able to get a full room as
the event was put together quite in
a rush. So, we finally decided to take
THRILL THE WORLD to the streets, and
perform ouside. This was our last chance
or we had to cancel the event. In NO
way did we plan to cancel it as we love
Michael so much and promised we would
do it!
It
was so cold outside, but we had a great
time! We filmed the rehearsals, make-up
sessions, and also got some fans in
action dancing and singing to Beat It,
Billie Jean & Thriller (I am part
of this sequence! lol). We decided we'd
be dressed like zombies and we worked
on some staging and special effects,
with lights and smoke. The event took
place in front of a huge gate, that
looks like the entrance or exit of a
graveyard.
We
took a lot of pictures, to make it short,
we had a ball, that was so cool! We
were all tired, actually it was very
long day: dance classes first, then
rehearsing all day long for TTW... But
those were sheer moments of happiness!

Oct. 28th, 2007: THRILL
THE WORLD @ San Diego - Fires in California
Groups
of Zombies around the world took part
in THRIL THE WORLD 2007 yesterday. MJ
data bank will give you more updates
and coverage about this very soon.
This
year's edition saw one dedicated group
from San Diego joining THRILL THE WORLD.
The wildfires hitting California did
NOT stop THRILL SAN DIEGO. The group
did NOT cancel its participation and
actually worked hard to make the event
happen.
Today,
THRILL SAN DIEGO is calling out for
help. It's about donating to the Red
Cross and thus help the organisation
save people who have been touched by
the wildfires. Countless homes have
been destroyed, and there have been
several fire related deaths. Donating
[even One Penny] will make a difference.

Teddy Riley's recording studio, Future
Records.
Here
is the original text of the auction:
5 CD'S MICHAEL JACKSON "SHE DRIVES
ME WILD" TEDDY RILEY
MIX!
AUTHENTIC NEVER RELEASED FUTURE RECORDS CD'S OF MICHAEL
JACKSON
You are bidding on a very unique and rare piece of music
memorabilia. This set of 4 CD's contains some of the original, uncut and
unedited, studio recordings of Michael Jacksons huge hits "In The Closet".
These CD's are from Future Records Recording Studio, Teddy Riley's former studio
in Virginia Beach, VA. They include many unheard mixes, edits, different sounds,
different pieces taken in or added, and more. These mixes are one of a kind,
they were not distributed to the public in any shape or form to our knowledge.
The CD's are truely one of a kind.
These CD's
were in the care of Teddy Riley, who moved his music operations to Virginia
Beach, VA as the now defunct Future Records Recording Studio. When Teddy and the
studio ran into financial problems, the CD's came up for auction and were
purchased by private individual, and as such came into our possession here in
our store. We are 100% sure these are authentic, and have 100% legal right to
sell this music. We have had Teddy Riley related memorabilia from that storage
auction up for sale in the past as well.
Below are
the listings of all the CD's and tracks. We have listed everything that was
written on the CD to give you a better idea of what is contained on them without
hearing it. Remember, these only know copies of the CD's out there, not
replications of the CD's.
5 CD's set (starting bid USD 499.99):
Michael Jackson "She Drives Me Wild" New Vocoder Part #11
Michael Jackson "She Drives Me Wild" Teddy's New Stuff #12
Michael Jackson "She Drives Me Wild" New Parts #25
Michael Jackson "She Drives Me Wild" No Lead Vocals #33
Michael Jackson "She Drives Me Wild" #51
This collection is an absolute must have for any fan of Michael
Jackson or Teddy Riley! This is a once in a lifetime chance to grab these
items, they won't ever be for sale again. This is likely the only copies that
exist. We are not selling copies, and there are no copies being made personally.
Because of this items extremely rare nature, the bidding will begin high. Good
luck bidding!
Note: MJ data bank would like to
stress that this auction lists unreleased audio material by Michael Jackson,
Bill Bottrell and Teddy Riley. Selling such songs deals with copyright
infrigement. Seller is aware of that, and so should potential buyer. We will
leave that to your judgement.

On
monday, oct. 25th, 1982, Epic Record released The Girl Is Mine
as a single. This is how it all began. The promotion of the
biggest selling album of all time got a smart and smooth blastoff
with a song that could not predict what was about to happen.
The wind-fueled fires that have burned more than 700 homes and
chased away 265,000 residents from the San Diego area may be only the start of the destruction in
Southern California, where
Tuesday's forecast called for hotter temperatures and more explosive gusts.
The fires that started Sunday were whipped by ferocious winds, generating
walls of flame that bore down on housing developments in a wide swath.
Homes burned from the beaches of
Malibu to the mountain retreats east of
Los Angeles and
south through Orange and Sand Diego counties to Mexico.
The Pacific Coast Highway is closed thanks to a blaze that is overtaking Malibu.
The fire might have started from some downed power lines, local news reports.
This in combination with high winds has added to the blaze that continues to
burn through Malibu.
Hollwood TV has a list of celebrities' homes that might be
affected by the fire, including one belonging to Michael Jackson (located at
6983 Wildlife Rd. Malibu)
