Omar & Fred: It reminds us of our childhood...
A: You sure were
very young then

very young (Omar
was born in
1978 and Fred
in 1977)...
Omar: Thriller is the first vinyle I ever got. And for
the first time,
we saw a short
film, with a
true story:
Thriller.
Fred: That was the first time I ever bought a red leather
outfit... Thanks
to Thriller...
A: What
is your favorite
track ?
Fred: Thriller...

you influenced
by the video
?
Fred:
Sure, a lot,
and I eventually
bought a red
leather outfit,
and I would
listen to the
album, night
and day...
A: Was
that an exact
copy of the
actual outfit,
or just a jacket
that looked
like it ?
Fred: It looked like
it, but to tell
you the truth,
I made that
outfit myself...
And I tried
to dance like
Michael Jackson,
but it didn't
work... Fortunately,
a few years
later, I met
Omar who knew
how to dance
like Michael...
A: Even
if the album
still sounds
fresh, do
you think
you could
go for a
"Customers
Service"
for it,
just like
you do it
everyday
in your
"SAV"
show ?
Omar:
Well, "Customers
Service"
is for things
that don't work.
And you can
see that 25
years later,
Thriller still
works, it's
perfect... So
you don't need
to call or reach
any "Customers
Service"...
Fred: That's impossble...
A: Did you buy the album yourself, or did some
relatives or
parent give
it to you ?
Fred: I did buy it, myself...
A: ... Do you remember the day when you bought
it ?
Fred: ... That was in a superstore... And as soon as
I played it
at home, in
my bedroom,
I felt good...

No... It's an
album among
others, and
it's one of
the Jackson
albums we love,
just like the
others...

I like Off The
Wall better...
But Thriller
introduced me
to the world
of Michael Jackson.
When I saw the
video, I wanted
to have the
album. I ask
my parents for
it... And they
got me a vinyle
copy as a gift...
They knew I
loved it all...
Then I went on to
buy all the
previous albums,
like a retrospective,
and I've been
following all
the albums that
have been released
since then.
